James Bond animated icons

Yesterday I got hold of a 75MB copy of the HD trailer for the new James Bond movie "Quantum of Solace". The result is 22 animated icons :)

This is the first time I've had a go at making icons sized 100x63, but it definitely won't be the last.

It's no secret I love making animated icons. The only problem is, it takes forever to find a decent frame for each batch, because I don't want to use the same frame over and over. Change is always a good thing.

However, instead of finding a frame for some Spangel icons, I thought I would try something different.

I'm not sure if the icons work or not. I'll let you be the judge of that :)

The vicar and her handsome stranger

More animated icons. This time it's "The Vicar of Dibley" - or to be more precise, the two-part finale, "The Handsome Stranger" and "The Vicar in White".

Naturally, I've concentrated on the scenes with Harry Kennedy (Richard Armitage), so most of the icons are of him, either on his own, with Geraldine (Dawn French), or with Rosie (Keeley Hawes). However, there are also a few of Geraldine on her own, and a single one of Alice.

I know I already animated the 'almost kiss', but the clip I used last time had a big logo in the top left corner. As that particular icon was the most popular, I thought I would make one without the logo.

Today a new clip from "Torchwood" was posted, and there was a bit of almost kissing going on between Captains Jack and John.

It seems to be their kind of thing: meet up, kiss the life out of each other, and then beat each other senseless. Not a bad plan, as it goes ...

Tru Calling icons (still and animated)

This project started when I wanted to make an animated icon of the last part of the opening credits for Tru Calling Season 2 (where Tru is walking in the churchyard and there are these flashes of green eyes). To be on the safe side, I capped the opening credits from start to finish.

When I saw how gorgeous the caps were, I decided it would be kind of fun to make an animated icon out of the entire opening credits. Crazy, I know ... The icon turned out great, though, so I thought, why not make another one, this time from Tru Calling Season 1?

JM icons and artwork

I've made some icons with JM smiling for the July prompt over at nekid_spike. One (the first in the teaser) turned out better than expected, and I decided to save a copy of it before I made it icon-sized.

When I looked at the icons just now, I realized that the saved copy - which I made 500x500 pixels for some reason - really deserved to take centre stage. In my opinion JM looks absolutely gorgeous in this.
